John E. Grenier, P.E., S.E. - Structural Engineer
Mr. Grenier is the founding principal of the firm and continues to be involved in all aspects of the business. His 31 years of experience includes a diverse range of project types including educational and university facilities, medical, commercial, industrial projects, master planning, civil site design and structural investigations and assessments. In addition to complete project design and coordination, his experience includes extensive field administration, specification writing, project management, and cost estimating. He has been both Principal-in-Charge and Prime Consultant to the client, in addition to the usual sub-consultant role. He is a strong advocate of team collaboration and his wealth of knowledge allows Mr. Grenier to be an excellent facilitator to any project. A unique asset that Mr. Grenier brings to a client is that he has also owned and built several of his own personal projects (both buildings and site development) which gives him an owners perspective. Mr. Grenier received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in Civil Engineering in 1981 and is currently registered in 11 states. He is dual licensed as a civil engineer and structural engineer in Arizona. He currently is the Chairman of the NCSEA code advisory sub committee; general requirements sub committee. Jason Morse, P.E., - Civil Engineer
Mr. Morse is our civil engineering Department Manager. He has been involved with numerous projects involving large scale site planning and design. His experience includes large infrastructure projects in Arizona, New Mexico and Georgia. His understanding of the multiple aspects of a project and integrating them harmoniously into the overall design are his expertise. His experience includes a variety of civil design elements directly related to successful land development including grading, paving, sewer and water design, as well as platting and Storm Water Management Plan preparation. Jason has experience with both public and private projects. His private work includes commercial/retail/office development, and residential (subdivision, single lot, and condominium subdivision) development. His public sector work includes roadways, drainage, water, and sewer work, and school work. Jason is a graduate of the University of Arizona. Email: jmorse @ greniereng.com
David Gluck, P.E., S.E., - Project Manager
David has multifaceted experience in both design and construction, having experience working for a construction company as an estimator and in the field before coming to Grenier Engineering seven years ago. David’s most recent experience has been designing mid-rise post tensioned concrete buildings, as well as structural steel. Other projects include retail, office, multi-family residential and commercial structures. The design systems have included masonry, steel frame, light gage steel stud, wood stud, concrete over steel deck, post tensioned concrete, wood trusses, wood ‘I’ joists, steel bar joists, and retaining walls. David has extensive experience with providing planning and civil engineering design. David has nearly 45 years of industry experience. During this time, he has developed a deep understanding of the design, permitting and construction processes, and is highly skilled in applying this knowledge to deliver quality projects on time and in budget. David places a high importance on communication and building strong relationships with clients, the design team, governmental agencies and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects. He most enjoys working with clients to develop and transform their ideas into reality.
