John E. Grenier, P.E. 
Mr. Grenier is the founding principal of the firm and continues to be involved in all aspects of the business.  His 31 years of experience includes a diverse range of project types including educational and university facilities, medical, commercial, industrial projects, master planning, civil site design and structural investigations and assessments. In addition to complete project design and coordination, his experience includes extensive field administration, specification writing, project management, and cost estimating. He has been both Principal-in-Charge and Prime Consultant to the client, in addition to the usual sub-consultant role. He is a strong advocate of team collaboration and his wealth of knowledge allows Mr. Grenier to be an excellent facilitator to any project. A unique asset that Mr. Grenier brings to a client is that he has also owned and built several of his own personal projects (both buildings and site development) which gives him an owners perspective.   Mr. Grenier received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in Civil Engineering in 1981 and is currently registered in 17 states. He is dual licensed as a civil engineer and structural engineer in Arizona. He currently is the Vice Chairman of the NCSEA code advisory sub committe; general requirements sub committee. John is a native Tucsonan and he and Marcia are active in the lifes of their four children. Their activities include Pediatric ICU nurse at the University Medical Center; SMU football in Dallas; NAU and Salpointe High School. Email: jgrenier@greniereng.com

Treye Konrath, P.E.
Treye graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering. Treye has a background in construction as well as engineering.  His designs have included commercial, education, medical, government, fire stations, residential, churches, mining and health care facilities.  The materials of construction for these buildings have included masonry, steel frame, light gage steel stud, wood stud, concrete tilt-panels, concrete over steel deck, post tensioned concrete, wood trusses, wood ‘I’ joists, steel bar joists, retaining walls, etc. He has been involved with the designs of several LEED certified projects including the new nine story Unisource Tower in downtown Tucson. Treye has been a Professional Mentor for the Engineers Without Borders organization including a trip to Ghana, Africa in 2009. He is also a member of the Southern Arizona Structural Engineering Association.    Email: treye@greniereng.com

Jon Woods, P.E., Ph.D.
Mr. Woods has been Grenier Engineering's Phoenix area office Director for the last six years, and specializes in both civil & structural design. He has provided engineering and management services covering all phases of design and construction for a wide range of projects within the educational, healthcare, industrial, mining, recreational, religious, residential and retail sectors.  Mr. Woods received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona in 2003, having completed extensive research in the application of Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) in the field of construction.  Currently, he specializes in the structural design and analysis for the utilization of FRP in the repair and rehabilitation of existing structures and also incorporates the material in building new structures.  His diverse education and broad understanding of a wide range of construction materials allows him to provide designs with state of the art materials suitable for each specific project.  His thorough and thoughtful project approach strives to address the criteria as well as delivering a cost effective and practical solution.  All of this is done with a goal of exceeding our client expectations. Jason Morse, P.E.
Mr. Morse is a Project Engineer with our firm performing engineering calculations, wastewater design, and site layout plans for public roadway improvements as well as commercial and residential developments.  He previously worked as an intern in the mechanical engineering field performing design and installation of pressure vessel relief systems and atmospheric tanks, as well as reclassifying mine property maps while attending college.  He has excellent problem solving techniques and is skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D Design Software, and Microstation. Jason is currently registering in the State of Arizona as a Professional Engineer, having just passed the Civil Exam.    Mr. Morse loves fast cars and hunting. Email: jmorse@greniereng.com
